ABOUT ME

Hello, I am a senior at the University of California, Santa Barbara graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with an emphasis in Ethics and Public Policy and a minor in Professional Writing, with a focus on Civic and Public Engagement.

My time at college has allowed me to bolster a unique way of thinking that combines my scientific and abstract backgrounds. I spent my first two years of college as microbiology major before I discovered my passion for the legal field, which led me to formally switch to Philosophy my third year. The juxtaposition of science’s analytic approach with the abstract, metaphysical thinking of philosophy allows me to think through and solve problems in a holistic way in which I can draw from both influences.

This unique ability has allowed me to contribute innovative ideas to the legal cases I assist with at the law office I work at, where I serve as a legal assistant. I have also been able to improve upon my on-campus job’s organization by suggesting a change in the operational structure, which has subsequently yielded an increase of 15% in the number of new hires.
